Peoria AZ

Greetings,
Elder T is serving in the Peoria AZ North Stake in the Lake Pleasant Ward. We looked on a map and it looks like it is on the North West side of Phoenix.

It was requested that all mail go through the Mission Home and they will forward on all mail. FedEx/UPS will not be forwarded and will only be picked up once a week... so send through USPS.

His address is:
Elder Cody Troxler
18001 N. 79th Ave
Ste C50
Glendale AZ 85308-8394

We also found out:

Lori -

I was talking to my mother today and she mentioned that she had met a new
missionary this morning and that he was from Colorado Springs. As it turns out,
Cody is serving in my parents' ward in Peoria and is actually living just a couple
of houses away from them. My dad is actually the stake president there, so he will
probably be getting to know my family pretty well. I just thought that this was a
fun coincidence and I thought you would like to know. My parents' names are Wes
and Lori Wagner and my mom mentioned that Cody seemed like a really good kid.
Anyways, I know you guys are now moved to Las Vegas so we will no longer see you
in our ward, but I thought you would like to know that Cody will definitely be
well watched over. I hope everything is going well with all of you! We will
definitely miss seeing your family on Sundays.

PHX here I come.

Elder T was finally able to talk to Lori today or Lori was finally able to talk to Elder T today. You take your pick... They both have been waiting for this call for 3 weeks.

Elder T was leaving Provo UT and the MTC for sunny Phoenix, a.k.a the hottest place on Earth. He will report into his mission president today and find out exactly where in the mission he will be going. They recently divided the PHX Mission in half and Cody will be serving in the southern half. So all the good things he heard about Flagstaff are out the door.

Elder T reported the food in the MTC was horrible, ultimate frisbee is banned for missionaries due to its "violent nature" and he was put on lock down because President Monson was on the MTC campus.

Elder T said his room mate and he received the most letters out of all his district. He loved getting all the letters and we hope that will continue through out his mission. Stay tuned for his new postal address. When we know you will know.

Lori was able to stay on the phone 25 - 30 minutes and they both laughed and cried.

Elder T is excited to get out to the field and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Put Your Shoulder to the Wheel

Well Elder Troxler has been in the MTC for 2.3 weeks now. He has his P-day (prep day) on Thursdays. Since he went to the MTC on a Wednesday he didn't get a P-day his first week so the letters didn't flow until last week. He is doing good but has been challenged. He is however; putting his shoulder to the wheel and pressing along. Cody has been rough on himself as he is not the "Superstar" he is used to being. I guess he is finally getting to know humility.

Elder T (as Lori calls him) days consist of two 4 hour blocks of study inter-mingled with personal studies, prayer, eating and sleeping.

Elder T will be transferring from the MTC to AZ-PHX Mission on Tuesday and has promised to call his mother along the way. She sure misses the sound of his voice.

Stay tuned for Elder T's mission address. We sent one box that will be waiting but he will always enjoy other boxes over the next two years.

Also coming in the next few weeks will be our Las Vegas contact info.

We love you all and thank you for all your prayers for us and Cody.
